Honda CBR650F - Built For The Young And The Young At Heart

Honda CBR650F Black

In the past few years, Honda has focused on enticing and capturing new riders with new entry-level and mid-level motorcycles. The 2015 CBR650F does what Honda has always done best: offer performance, innovation and quality, and deliver it at a value point that’s second to none. Add to that the CBR650F’s wide capabilities-sportbike, commuter, weekend fun machine-and you can see that it’s like having two or three machines for the price of one. Best of all, nobody else, at any price, can deliver the build quality and long-term reliability that’s made Honda famous.

Set to launch on August 4,Honda CBR 650F assembly line is geared to assemble two motorcycles a day at the company's original manufacturing facility, Manesar, just outside the capital. Don’t confuse the Honda CBR 650F with their half-litre, more track-focused supersports-class sportsbike, the CBR600RR. The CBR 650F is nowhere near as aggressive as that bike, which is definitely good news for India.

Key Features:

•The DOHC 16-valve cylinder head employs direct cam actuation and cam timing that  delivers strong torque and drivability below 4,000 rpm.

•Internal water channeling from cylinder head to cylinders reduces the number of external  hoses allowing the motor to show off its minimal, elegant beauty and functional style.

•The shock and 41 mm telescopic fork have been developed to work directly with the    CBR650F frame’s performance parameters to provide supple, neutral handling in all  conditions. Firmer spring rates (with damping to suit) match the bike’s more sports-oriented  focus.

•A compact ‘wave’ design ignition key offers improved security and reduced chance of    breakage.

CBR650F Highlights

The CBR650F performs just as every other honda of late:just fine.Handling is completely predictable and downright easy.Everything from turning into a corner and rolling on the throttle on exit, happens effortlessly, and the chassis allows for no surprise. The clutch, though not particularly light, feels dead predictable and switching through the gears happens almost without thinking.
Aesthetically,Honda has done a nice job lately. The matte black paint looks beautiful up close, much nicer you would expect from an entry level bike.
