Suzuki Motorcycles Report 20% Jump In Sales For January 2015

Suzuki Motorcycles India reported 20% jump in sales numbers for the first month of the calendar year 2015 compared to the same month last year. Suzuki managed to sell a consolidated figure of 33,405 units of two-wheelers in January 2015 compared to 27,825 units in January 2014.

Suzuki is riding high on the huge success of its 155cc stylish motorcycle Gixxer as well as a number of popular scooter models like Lets, Access and Swish. The Gixxer is recipient of numerous ‘Bike of the Year’ awards. Suzuki is one of the few motorcycle manufacturers in India who offer wide range of two-wheelers right from 110cc Hayate to the world class 1340cc Hayabusa Z.

Speaking on this growth pattern, Mr. Atul Gupta, Executive Vice President, SMIPL, said “Our concerted efforts to promote the GIXXER and Let’s have met with positive customer sentiment. Customer satisfaction and word-of-mouth publicity are key factors that work to our advantage.”
