Honda Launches 4 Bikes At The RevFest 2015 In India

In a one of its kind launch event, Honda organized their RevFest 2015 simultaneously across 8 cities in India - New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Indore and Ahmedabad -  with spectacular  band performances and 4 bike launches. The Revfest was one of the biggest bike launch event seen in the country in recent time by a single manufacturer. The bikes launched at the Revfest includes the highly anticipated CBR650F, CB Hornet 160R and latest versions of CBR 250R and CBR 150R.

Honda CBR 650F

The CBR 650F has been priced at INR 7,30,000 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and INR 7,60,970 (ex-showroom Mumbai). The fully faired CBR650F is powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled, inline four cylinder engine cradled by a twin-spar steel frame. Maximum power is rated at 87PS @ 11,000 rpm, while maximum torque stands at 62Nm. The engine, which also employs Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI), is mated to a 6-speed transmission.

Suspension duties are handled by 41mm telescopic forks up front and a monoshock with spring-preload adjustability at the rear. Braking comprises 320mm discs with twin-piston callipers up front and a 240mm disc with a single-piston calliper at the back. ABS comes as standard.

Honda CB Hornet 160 India

Regarding CB Hornet, Honda said that the CB Hornet 160R is inspired by the “dreams of the Golden Generation”, and is “faster, smarter, sportier marvel on two wheels.” Although Honda has not released much information on CB hornet it is expected to be in the market as a premium cousin of Honda Unicorn 160.

Honda also introduced latest versions of the CBR 150R and CBR 250R. Technical specificatiosn for both the bikes remain the same but they are cosmetically enhanced and receive new graphics &  color options. The CBR250R will continue to use the same 249cc liquid cooled, 4-Stroke, SI engine that delivers 26PS of power and 22.9Nm of torque. The CBR150R will also use the existing 149cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke delivering 18.5PS of power and 12.66Nm of torque.
