Suzuki Motorcycle India Sales Report For April 2015



Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of one of the world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki Motor Corporation, registered a 1.10% increase in their April 2015 sales figures as compared to April 2014. Suzuki Motorcycle sold 27,320 units in April 2015 as opposed to 27,023 units in April 2014, recording a growth in its overall sales. Suzuki Motorcycles has maintained a constant growth over the past few years. 


Suzuki recently launched Gixxer SF on 7th April 2015 to suite the taste of young and dynamic customers. The bike contributed significantly in the the sales index of Suzuki bikes last month.

Commenting on the sales growth, Mr. Atul Gupta, Executive Vice President, SMIPL, said “Although the two wheeler industry in general has experienced a slight slowdown, Suzuki has experienced growth in sales. The recently launched Gixxer SF, a fully faired variant of Gixxer has been very well received by consumers. We look forward to continuing this upwards sales trajectory in the coming months.”
