5 Most Powerful Cars from New York International Auto Show 2015

Presenting to you the 5 most powerful cars that were the center of attention at the New York International Auto Show 2015 held at Jacob Javits Convention Center:

#5 -  Lamborghini Veneno

The beautiful Veneno is a Lamborghini masterpiece that gives us a dose of nostalgia bringing back memories of the Countach era with those crazy vents and wings. Not only does it look mesmerizing but also sound of its 750 horsepower 6.5 liter V12 makes you go bonkers. Lamborghini Veneno has a top speed of 220 mph an hour and 0-62 time of less than 3 seconds. The Veneno is a three of a kind vehicle and to witness one is nothing short of winning a lottery.

#4 -  Porsche 918 Spyder

Porsche 918 Sypder is a descendent of the decade old supercar Carrera GT and admittedly a worthy one. The 918 produces 944 lb-ft torque and 887 horsepower. The car has a hybrid petrol-electric ‘plug-in’ power train, one that has never been seen before. The 918 Spyder is built of light weight yet very durable carbon fiber rendering the car fairly light. This exotic looking supercar has a top speed of 211 mph and gets from 0-62 mph is just 2.8 seconds. A true supercar is here.

#3 - Koenigsegg Agera

Koenigsegg is a pioneer in the world of hyper cars and there is no better example than the Koenigsegg Agera. The 5 liter V8 gives an output of 960 horsepower. It is the only hyper car with a detachable and storable hardtop. The Agera was also the first model in which the VGR wheels were used considerable increasing the downforce and thus the overall stability of the car. The chassis is made of carbon fibre with aluminum honeycomb. If you are looking for a durable, stable and fast hyper car, you search ends right here.

#2 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse

Bugatti Veyron is one name that even the most impervious people are well aware of. The new open top version Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse is as elegant and lest we forget, as expensive as it can get. It is the fastest production roadster ever built with a top end of whooping 255 mph. With maximum output of 1200 horsepower this one of the most powerful cars in human history. In this car, the road is always too short.

#1 Koenigsegg One:1

Koenigsegg has done it again! This time what they have created is in a class of its own, breaking records previously left untouched and making the impossible possible. Power output of Koenigsegg One:1 is 1 megawatt that is 1360 horsepower, making it the first mega car. The influence behind its name underlies in the technicalities. It is the first car to have achieved the 1:1 horsepower to curb weight ratio achieved through truly unprecedented weight reduction measures. The top speed is 273 mph. Little does that surprise me after learning what is packed under the hood.
