Ford EcoSport Ranks Highest In J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2014 Quality Study

Nigel Harris, president and managing director along with Raj Sarkar, vice president, marketing received the coveted recognition at J.D. Power Asia Pacific’s 2014 India Automotive Awards

Since the launch of Ford EcoSport in 2013 it has been the most lovable SUV for customers with more than 150,000 happy customers worldwide. The SUV has clinched more than 30 awards in less than 2 years of its launch. Some of its award includes Bloomberg Autocar Awards, NDTV Car & Bike Awards, CNBC TV 18 Overdrive Awards, ET Zigwheels Car & Bike of the year Awards, DNA Zee TV award etc.

Recently it has emerged as the highest ranked SUV according to J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2014 India Initial Quality Study (IQS) Study. Nigel Harris, President and MD of Ford India, along with Raj Sarkar, Vice President, Marketing, Ford India received the coveted recognition at the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2014 India Automotive Awards Evening.

The Ford Ecosport is the mixture of styling, economy and equipment. It has pleased customers with its cheap price, dedicated service and powerful performance of vehicle. The Ecosport has  10 varients available in Indian markets. The SUV with 1.5L TiCVT engine gives power output of 112PS at 6300 rpm whereas 1.5L TDCi engine variant gives power output of 91PS at 3750 rpm. The most lovable variant of EcoSport is the SUV with 1.0 L EcoBoost engine. This engine has power output of 125PS at 6000 rpm. The Ecoboost engine has itself received many award for its technology. The engine is more efficient and emit less greenhouse gases as compared to other engines.

The SUV has wheelbase of 2520mm with makes the passenger sit comfortable in the car. It had 52 L of fuel tank which makes our long journey hassle free. Presence Electronic Power Assisted Steering ( EPAS)  with pull drift compensation technology and better suspension system makes the drive comfortable.  Vandalized disc brakes has been provided in the front for good breaking. Airbags and Anti lock Breaking System(ABS)  has also been installed for the safety of the passengers.
