Rally de Moto 2.0: Re-union Of Vintage Cars & Bikes in Goa


Rally de Moto is an event that witnesses the reunion of the rides of past. It is for all those own and love classics, retro, and vintage vehicles. Rally de Moto is an event where the participants get to meet fellow owners and enjoy riding along with them to share some moments.
Rally de Moto is organized with the sole purpose of getting likeminded people and groups to a common platform to share their ride, experience and love for their vintage vehicles..

  


Goa’s capital city Panjim experienced another successful Rally de Moto 2.0 with many classic motorcycles and scooters riding past the city.

The second edition of Rally de Moto 2.0 which was held on 22nd February 2015 brought together many new faces and enthusiasts who love the machines of the past.

Rally De Moto saw a good number of participants from different parts of Goa. The event saw the participation of more than 19 two-wheelers which included 2 Ariel Red Hunters, 1 BSA Golden Flash, A  Triumph 3T, 2 Lamby 150’s, 1 Priya, 2 Jawa’s, 1 Vespa, 1 Honda CD200 RoadMaster, 1 Yezdi B Model and a CLII and many more.




The ride commenced from Panjim Central library at Patto Plaza with the riders falling in from South Goa, Margoa, Mapusa, Porvorim, Taligoa and Panjim. The participants rode across Panjim City to Miramar and back to Kala Academy via Taligoa. At the final stop it was decided to have more such rides and events in the future with the ideas of having breakfast rides too.

A few riders stressed upon road safety, to which everyone agreed. The event sees the coming together of many owners which invokes a healthy discussion amongst them about their machines, maintenance etc.  

In all, the Rally De Moto 2.0 was another successful event with riders cherishing every moment and reaching home back safely. Rally de Moto is organised by Goaonwheels.com, Goa’s first auto website.
