Stanadyne, a global giant in diesel and petrol fuel systems, today launched its next generation diesel fuel system – Eco Force in India. This fuel system is specially designed for engines with a capacity of less than 50 horsepower. The EcoForce would cater to the large farming, construction and industrial sectors in India providing a 50% reduction in particulate emissions (claimed). The EcoForce production will commence from 2016 and the company plans to invest Rs. 100 crores over the period.

The EcoForce will also help in improving the fuel consumption and the overall engine performance. Stanadyne entered the Indian market in 2004 and has sold over 18 lacs pumps. Recently, Stanadyne managed to achieve over 50% local market share in mid-sized generator sets market.
