Watch Top Automobiles In India In the 90s On Nat Geo India

National Geographic Channel India brings you a TV series that will take you two decades back in the 1990s where names like Hyundai, Honda, Tata Motors, Toyota were unheard of in the passenger car segment of the Indian Automobile Industry. Keyless entry, power windows, power steering, automatic gearbox, adjustable seats, airbags, ABS, were words that would not have made any sense back then.

It was decade where only the rich, upper class people could afford a car. It was a decade that was dominated by the like of HM Contessa, Fiat 118 NE, Daewoo Cielo and many others. Unfortunately none or very few of these survived the modern era. They are an extinct species now as brands and with handful of them in possession of few avid collectors.

Thanks to Nat Geo India, we now have a chance to relive that decade. With a star-studded cast of actors, eyewitnesses, politicians and celebrity interviewees, NGC tells the story of 10 years before boom turned into bust and the face of roads changed forever.

Tune into Nat Geo India every Friday at 10pm !
