Nissan Enters Into Strategic Partnership With MyTVS




Nissan Motor India, on 27th June 2016, entered into a strategic partnership with MyTVS, a car service network brand owned by TVS Automobile Solutions Private Limited (TVS ASPL), to expand its service touch points for the Nissan and Datsun models sold in India. 

Overall, Nissan will now have have 8 more Nissan Authorized Service Points (NASP) in Tamil Nadu due to this partnership along with the existing 23 service outlets of its own dealer dealer networks. Lately, the Japanese manufacturer has been very aggressive on its expansion plans in India. It aims to capture a 5 percent market share by the year 2020 and as a short term goal, the company is planning to reach 95% of its target customers by establishing over 300 sales and service outlets in the country by March 2017.

“Increased options and more convenient access to car servicing makes our customers happier,” said Guillaume Sicard, President of Nissan India Operations. “We are always striving to enhance the pleasure of owning a Nissan or Datsun car in India. Our partnership with MyTVS shows Nissan’s unwavering commitment to improving convenience and satisfaction for our customers,” he added.

The Nissan Authorised Service Points (NASP) will offer increased customer convenience in terms of service and repair. The services offered will include genuine parts availability, consumable service parts replacement (such as oil filters and brake pads), and trained staff providing expert service. Nissan and MyTVS are moving forward with plans for further expansion of NASPs to cover other locations throughout India.

MyTVS is a multi-brand car service / road-side assistance brand mostly present in the southern part of the country in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu & Kerala.
