Toyota Launches All New Innova Crysta At Rs 13.84 Lacs
Mumbai, 13th May 2016: Toyota India today launched the most awaited upgrade to its most successful car model Innova - the Innova Crysta - at a starting price of INR 13.84 lacs (ex-showroom Mumbai). Toyota also announced that they have received an overwhelming response from the market with the waiting period for the Crysta extending from 2 to 4 months across the country.
The all new Crysta will come with two diesel engine options and two new gearbox options. A smaller 2.4-litre diesel engine has been offered which produces 150 PS of max power and 343 Nm of max torque which is mated to a new 5-speed manual gearbox delivering 15.1 kmpl mileage.
The bigger 2.8-litre diesel engine produces 174 PS of max power and 360 Nm of max torque and comes with two options of gearboxes - a new 6-speed automatic (14.29 kmpl) with sequential shift and the 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Crysta in built on an all new frame and comes with 3 airbags and ABS with EBD & BA as standard across all variants. Interestingly, the top end variant ZX gets as many as 7 airbags with Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC).
The new release looks so polished from the outside based on the trimmed edges which look more sleek and neat. Improvements are important in the auto industry to provide a variation regardless of how minor it might be. It is just to ensure that consistent upgrades are released once in a while to keep consumers interested for more.
