Nissan Becomes Global Sponsor For All ICC Tournaments Till 2023

Mumbai, 14th October 2015 :  At a grand press conference in Mumbai, Nissan signed an 8-year contract with ICC to sponsor all global tournaments organized by the apex cricket body in the world. The occasion was graced by ICC CEO David Richardson, renowned cricket commentator Charu Sharma, Nissan India Operation President Guillaume Sicard, Nissan Global Marketing & Brand Head Roel de Vries and Nissan India Managing Director Arun Malhotra.

With this deal Nissan would be the official sponsor for ICC events till 2023 which includes the ICC Cricket World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy and ICC World Twenty20, as well as Under 19 and Women's Cricket and qualifying events.


India will be hosting the next ICC Twenty20 World Cup in 2016 and Nissan India will reap the highest brand exposure and other benefits.

As a global partner, Nissan will have extensive in-venue activation, broadcast and digital rights at all ICC events.

The ICC partnership is another example of Nissan’s dedication to global sport, which includes the UEFA Champions League, the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Olympic Teams of Great Britain, Mexico and Brazil, the National Collegiate Athletics Association, the Heisman Trophy, City Football Group and GT-R ambassador Usain Bolt.
